Its vapor is used as a decongestant and treatment for bronchitis and respiratory tract infection because of its antibacterial effects on pathogenic bacteria. Eucalyptus Oil also has anti-inflammatory and analgesic qualities when used topically as a liniment and its antimicrobial properties can be applied to wounds to prevent infection.
